Bengals WR Quan Cosby confirms his spot on 53 man roster via Twitter

With all 32 teams required to reduce their roster size to 53 by Saturday, it appears one bubble players for the Cincinnati Bengals has already found out he is safe—wide receiver Quan Cosby.

Cosby released a statement to his fans on Twitter that he will be back for his second season with the Bengals.

Since I have such great followers I will let y’all in on what will be confirmed Tom, I am and will b a Bengal! Gonna b a great year for us!!

The Bengals used Cosby mostly as a punt returner during his rookie season with an 11.9-yard average—ranking him third in the AFC. The former Texas standout signed with the Bengals as a rookie free agent last season and caught three receptions against the New York Jets during the opening round of the playoffs.
